Statement from Founder:

After years of working with institutional clients, I came to an important realization — I wanted to make a direct impact on my client's personal lives. In October 2022, I founded AC Financial with a simple vision: to build long-term trustworthy relationships with individuals and their families. Our mission: Help clients improve their quality of life by making wise financial decisions.

From the beginning, our approach has focused on - Smart, Simple, and More Personal solutions.

1986

Albert graduates from St. Mary’s University, Finance/Economics. Begins Career as a National Bank Examiner, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)

1989

Albert begins career in banking with Union National Bank, Laredo Texas, as Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager

1991

Albert joins Capital Securities Group in Austin, Texas, obtains securities license and begins working with institutional accounts.

1993

Capital Securities Group sold to Morgan Keegan (MK) from Memphis, Tenn. Albert stays with MK till 1999 and helps build a regional investment business working with banks and municipalities in Texas, California, and Puerto Rico

1999

Albert joins JC Bradford from Nashville, Tenn. to head institutional fixed income office in San Antonio. Albert continues working with banks and municipalities mostly in Texas
(Between 1999 – 2002: JC Bradford sold to Paine Weber. Then, Paine Weber sold to UBS. Banking Industry consolidates; Savings & Loan Industry vanishes.)

2002

In October 2002, Albert starts AC Asset Management, Inc. and AC Financial. After 15 years working institutional clients, his focus shifts towards helping private clients better manage their investments and organize their personal finances. He continues to work with a small group of banks and has an affiliate relationship with Falcon International Bank (FalconVest).

2014

After graduating from Texas A&M University, Alexandra joins her father at the firm.

Present

With over 30 years in finance, Albert leads AC Asset Management, Inc. and AC Financial, focusing on personalized strategies for private clients. Joined by his daughter Alexandra, the firm blends expertise with innovation to guide clients through today's dynamic financial landscape, while maintaining strong institutional partnerships.
